#4 design an ad that blends perfectly with the content –
In one of the previous articles we discussed about the various Ad formats. Once you decide Ad format next step is decide on the presentation style. Presentation style you can very well correlate with your dressing style. When you decide the dressing style 2 popular choices are a)matching colors b) contrast colors for top and bottom. For certain individual’s contrast will be better. For certain dress types contrast will be better.
Similarly for a good ad presentation, preferred and widely used method is design the ad color, border, link etc to perfectly match with your web page color combination. This way the customer may not easily figure out the ad from the content. This will help you to get more natural hits. Another analogy is by nature most people hate advertisements on web pages. The more your ad matches with your sites layout the more chance to retain the visitors on your site for lengthier time.
Review the following page and see how the page header and adsense on the top of the page are merged so well. This will hold visitors eyes few seconds more on the header area which will automatically increases the chance of a click

For some site the contrast color will work better. Logic behind those sites are the advertisement with very contracting color/image will capture our eyes attention which will force us to pay few seconds more attention on that area which improves the chance for a click.
