However you still can review your site to ensure that you are following best SEO practices. On the other hand if your primary focus is to generate as much as money from adsense, you probably can plan sites/contents on niche topics with top paying keywords.
 
 
Keyword effectiveness can be analyzed by some  of the industry standard SEO tools like Dynamic Submission or Web SEO or something like that.  Google  analytics, Google sitemap account etc also provide very valuable tools and information on deciding the best keywords that matches with your sites contents
 

  You can also find top paying keywords from the internet by minimum analysis. Here is list of some top keywords on certain topics  ( this list is almost 7-8 months old and I am using this as an example. )
